Attachment Made Simple: Accessing Attachment Pain, 3 hours
Only for mental health professionals (or students of these disciplines)
Description
“Attachment Made Simple” is the fifteenth instalment of the Online EFT workshop series that will hone your EFT skills. Attachment theory (or, as Dr. Sue Johnson would say, “Attachment Science”) is an evidence-based work that is the centrepiece of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). The focus of this workshop is to help you understand and work with attachment in your EFT work with clients. We will cut through some of the fluff and theory and show you how to use attachment science and language to deepen your clients by eliciting their clients’ fears and longings and to access their attachment pains. Various teaching methods will be used, such as concise teachings, video clips, demonstrations, etc.
This workshop is for participants who have some working knowledge of EFT and want to expand their EFT skills. EFT is an evidence-based model developed by Dr. Sue Johnson that can be used effectively in working with individuals, couples, and families.
Learning Outcomes
