Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT): Grief & Losses, 3 hours
Only for mental health professionals (or students of these disciplines)
“EFIT: Working with Grief and Loss” is the Seventeenth instalment of the Online EFT workshop series that will hone your EFT skills. The focus of this workshop is to help you use Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) to work with your client’s grief and loss. This training will help you deepen your understanding of grief and loss in the context of attachment. You will learn various EFT macro-interventions and micro-interventions to access the emotions behind their loss so that they can move towards growth and healing. Various teaching methods, such as concise teachings, video clips, discussions, etc., will be used.
This workshop is for participants who have some working knowledge of EFT and want to expand their EFT skills. EFT is an evidence-based model developed by Dr. Sue Johnson that can be used effectively in working with individuals, couples, and families.
