RESOURCES: VIDEOS

Watching EFT videos is a great way to learn EFT. When you watch Sue and other EFT trainers in action, you can learn their language, tone, pace, and the way they stay so present with their couples.

There are a few ways for you to get EFT training videos:
  1. You can purchase your own copies through ICEEFT
  2. You can purchase your own copies through EFT trainers, for example, Lorrie Brubacher
  3. You can access EFT videos via Psychotherapy.net . Usually there is a membership fee per month. However, if you are a University student or an alumni, you may have free or discounted access via your library system. Check with your university library.
I recommend the following training videos when you are starting your EFT journey:
  1. Healing broken bond
This is an older video but I think it is a good one for therapists who are starting out on their EFT journey. Sue Johnson skillfully walks us through the 3 stages and 9 steps of EFT with the same couple.
  2.  Shaping secure connection: Stage 1 and 2 of EFT
Sue Johnson demonstrated EFT stage 1 work with a couple while Marlene Best skillfully worked with a couple who has trauma in their background. I especially appreciated Dr. Best’s pace in term of how slow she worked with this couple. She created such as safe environment for the pursuer to soften.
  3. Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy: Working with anxiety and depression
Sue Johnson demonstrated EFIT on tape working with a male who exhibited anxiety and depression.
